Job Description
Zydus Takeda Healthcare Private Ltd. - We are looking for an ex-service professional to build a high-performing security team at ourAPI manufacturing plant (Navi Mumbai), strengthening access control, surveillance, and compliance with cGMP, ISO, and statutory requirements.
Qualification: Any Graduate, Postgraduate in HR/Personnel Management preferred
Experience: Ex-army/navy/air force background (minimum 5 years’ experience) and minimum 5 -10 years of industry experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure security of premises and personnel through regular patrolling, surveillance monitoring (CCTV), inspections of buildings/equipment/access points, and strict access control/entry permitting. Ensure safe and compliant movement of people, materials, and equipment, in line with site safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Lead and manage all security functions for 24*7, including recruiting, supervising, direct, control, and impart training for security staff and guards. Coordinate with security agencies for smooth operations. Ensure legal & statutory compliances pertaining to security guard board.
- Maintain and control - Visitor Management System (VMS), security documentation and records, including - inward/outward, returnable goods, employee/visitor entry/exit, contract Labour entry/exit & attendance system, government/NGO visits, company transport, staff Transport, cars, and goods vehicles.
- Conduct routine plant rounds, OHC rounds, night/surprise checks, and ensure timely reporting and escalation of security incidents/observations and investigations pertaining to theft, complaints, etc.
- Manage Contract Labour employment, ensure statutory & legal compliance by the agencies, activities including entry control, record maintenance, and coordination with relevant internal stakeholders for compliance.
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective administrative services for the factory covering: housekeeping of premises and wash areas, pest control, waste disposal, garden upkeep, company transportation, travel support, OHC support coordination, security-related scrap and asset disposal.
- Coordinate and monitor vendor/service execution (security agency, housekeeping, pest control, canteen, waste) and validate service delivery as per scope and standards. Service providers invoice verification and documentation checks related to admin services (as applicable).
- Liasoning with local authorities, police, NGOs etc. as required.
- Coordinate with the EHS team to plan and execute mock drills, fire safety training, and emergency preparedness activities. Raise and implement work safety permits as per site systems and ensure adherence during execution.
- Initiate and execute Quality Management System activities related to pest control, and housekeeping processes, ensuring robust documentation and compliance with GMP requirements.
- Ensure daily work practices and service operations comply with cGMP, EQMS, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 requirements and maintain all time audit-readiness.
- Support HR & Admin team on daily basis in the areas of Administration and Security.
