Job Description
About the role:
Take the lead as our Finance Business Manager for the site, overseeing product costing for all stages of manufacturing. In this pivotal role, you’ll delve into commercial manufacturing processes, nurture your curiosity about the pharmaceutical industry, solve complex business challenges with collaborative insights, and develop a passion for continuous learning.

How you will contribute:
Reporting to the Site Finance Director and acting as strategic business partner, you will:
Lead financial planning and analysis activities related to product costing and present the production costs during Month-end close.
Translate site operations into clear financial outcomes within the costing process.
Perform financial analyses and scenario planning to assess impacts of investments or operational changes, driving innovative solutions to achieve site goals.
Act as the primary liaison between the site and the global product costing team.
Analyse production cost variances, inventory adjustments, and strategic proposals to support decision-making.
Coordinate cost variance estimation processes to enable accurate forecasting and inventory planning.
Drive insights using advanced systems like TM1, SAP, and JDE.
Partner across functions such as Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality to refine product costs while fostering collaboration.
Oversee CAPEX matters and demonstrate expertise in Fixed Assets financial management.
Ensure external (Statutory) and internal audit readiness and compliance with SOX controls.
What you bring to Takeda:
Degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced credentials preferred (CMA, CPA, Masters in Finance, MBA).
Expertise in Pharmaceutical or Biotech Industry, with strong cost accounting experience in manufacturing or supply chain.
Proven capabilities in predictive analytics and scenario planning.
Minimum of 7 years in accounting/finance roles with advanced cost accounting proficiency.
Strong analytical skills, adept at handling complex datasets.
High systems proficiency (SAP, TM1, JDE, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
Excellent communication and presentation skills across organizational levels.
Proven agility and experience working in a fast-paced environment
Fluency in English and French.
