Job Description
Role purpose
To drive the strategic development of key accounts and expand access to Takeda therapies by building long-term partnerships with key healthcare stakeholders and coordinating cross-functional initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
•Build and maintain in-depth expertise in the Company’s products and key therapeutic areas to act as a trusted partner for key accounts
•Develop and implement strategic Account Plans for priority healthcare institutions and centers of excellence, aligned with brand and business objectives
•Drive the achievement of sales and business objectives through a structured, insight-driven approach to account management
•Lead engagement with key healthcare stakeholders (physicians, KOLs, hospital management, pharmacy leaders) to build sustainable, long-term partnerships
•Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Medical, Market Access, Marketing, and Patient Support teams to ensure integrated execution of account strategies
•Identify and address barriers along the patient journey and access pathways, initiating local projects to improve access to Takeda therapies
•Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance and ethical standards, including timely safety reporting in line with internal procedures
•Leverage CRM systems and analytics to prioritize accounts, track performance, and optimize resource allocation
•Contribute to the planning and execution of high-impact scientific and educational activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
•Monitor market dynamics (territory potential, disease epidemiology, competitive landscape) and translate insights into actionable account strategies
•Act as a key interface between Takeda and strategic customers, representing the Company as a long-term healthcare partner
Requirements
∙ 3–5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
∙ Proven experience in the hospital segment
∙ Strong strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills
∙ Solid understanding of the healthcare system in the Republic of Kazakhstan, including access pathways and institutional decision-making processes
∙ Hands-on experience with CRM systems and performance management tools
∙ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
