About the Role

As DD&T Cluster Lead, you will serve as the strategic technology partner for the cluster, acting as the primary connection between business teams and enterprise Data, Digital & Technology (DD&T) capabilities. You will help shape the technology, data and AI agenda by identifying opportunities, defining business needs, and ensuring that innovation delivers measurable value.

Working closely with local market teams, business functions, and global DD&T stakeholders, you will drive digital transformation, accelerate the adoption of enterprise solutions, and translate business priorities into a clear, outcome-focused technology roadmap. This is a highly visible leadership role that combines strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, innovation, governance, and hands-on delivery of key initiatives.

How You Will Contribute

• Act as the trusted DD&T business partner for the cluster, providing a clear and effective engagement model for technology, data and AI initiatives.

• Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities, define requirements, prioritise demand, and shape initiatives before they enter delivery.

• Develop and maintain a cluster-wide DD&T portfolio and roadmap aligned with business priorities and enterprise strategy.

• Represent DD&T in leadership and governance forums, ensuring business needs, challenges and opportunities are translated into scalable solutions.

• Drive the adoption of enterprise technologies, AI capabilities, digital platforms and data solutions, with a strong focus on business value and user adoption.

• Lead selected strategic initiatives from concept through adoption, ensuring clear requirements, solution fit and measurable outcomes.

• Champion responsible AI practices and promote the use of approved enterprise platforms, ensuring compliance, transparency and sustainable adoption.

• Collaborate with regional and global delivery teams to prioritise initiatives, manage escalations and support successful implementation.

• Establish effective operating models and support structures to ensure long-term sustainability of DD&T solutions.

• Monitor portfolio performance, adoption, value realisation, risks and dependencies, providing clear updates and recommendations to senior leadership.

• Ensure adherence to DD&T governance, risk, compliance, privacy and security requirements across the cluster.

• Act as a technology and AI thought leader, helping stakeholders understand emerging opportunities and the practical application of innovative solutions.

What You Bring to Takeda

• 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, Digital, Data, Analytics or related technology roles, preferably within the Life Sciences, Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry.

• Strong understanding of commercial business processes and the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.

• Hands-on experience with Data, Analytics and AI solutions, including translating business challenges into technology-driven outcomes.

• Demonstrated success leading digital transformation, technology adoption or enterprise change initiatives within complex organisations.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organisational levels.

• Experience managing cross-functional portfolios, programmes or strategic technology initiatives.

• Knowledge of project management and change management methodologies.

• Understanding of digital governance, compliance, privacy and risk management requirements.

• Experience working with enterprise technology platforms, data ecosystems and modern digital solutions.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritise effectively and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong collaborative mindset with experience building partnerships across business, technology and external partners.

Location: While a primary location is identified for this role, qualified internal candidates located in Russia, Belarus, or Kazakhstan may also be considered, subject to business needs, role requirements, talent availability, and local legal requirements.
