Job Description

About the Role (Role purpose / objective)

The Head of Distribution & Multichannel role is to lead the development and execution of integrated channel and supply chain strategies across hospital, retail, DTP, e-commerce, and emerging healthcare platforms. This role will be responsible for driving sustainable business growth, expanding channel reach, improving customer engagement, strengthening supply chain resilience and efficiency, and ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration under a highly compliant operating model.

How you will contribute: (Key accountabilities and responsibilities)

  • Develop and execute a nationwide omnichannel sales strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.

  • Continuously optimize channel strategies based on market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and policy changes.

  • Support new product launches, key brand growth initiatives, and channel transformation projects.

  • Lead the overall management of hospital, retail, DTP, O2O, e-commerce, and internet healthcare channels to improve coverage, efficiency, and sales performance.

  • Build strong partnership frameworks with key channels and manage strategic customer relationships to drive long-term business value.

  • Own annual sales target setting, forecasting, budget management, performance tracking, and business reviews to ensure delivery of revenue, profit, and market share goals.

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Digital teams to ensure effective execution and strategic alignment.

  • Build and lead a high-performing team while fostering a results-driven, collaborative, and compliant culture with strong risk awareness.

  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain management across all channels and drive supply chain excellence by improving forecasting accuracy, inventory health, service levels, and cross-functional coordination, while proactively managing operational risks and ensuring compliant execution.

Skills (minimum education, knowledge or experience required to be successful in role.)

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking

  • Excellent channel development and key account management capabilities

  • Strong data analysis, business planning, and execution skills

  • Strong leadership, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration abilities

  • Good communication skills in both Chinese and English

  • Deep understanding of compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry
