Job Description

Responsibility:
  • Strategic Management:

  • Oversee the strategic planning and execution of alliance agreements.
  • Ensure alignment of alliance goals with Takeda's strategic objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with alliances.
  • Operational Oversight:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of alliance agreements.
  • Monitor the progress of collaborations and ensure milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support alliance activities.
  • Communication & Collaboration:

  • Maintain effective communication channels with external partners.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to ensure mutual benefit.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and updates between Takeda and its partners.
  • Performance Management:

  • Track and report on the performance of alliance agreements.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of partnerships.
  • Implement corrective actions when necessary to address issues or enhance performance
  • Capability Enhancement

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance Takeda’s alliance management capabilities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in alliance management.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on alliance management practices

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) preferred
  • Proven experience in alliance management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry’s regulatory environment.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with partners and stakeholders.
