Job Description
Responsibility:
Strategic Management:
- Oversee the strategic planning and execution of alliance agreements.
- Ensure alignment of alliance goals with Takeda's strategic objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with alliances.
Operational Oversight:
- Manage day-to-day operations of alliance agreements.
- Monitor the progress of collaborations and ensure milestones are met.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support alliance activities.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Maintain effective communication channels with external partners.
- Foster a collaborative environment to ensure mutual benefit.
- Facilitate regular meetings and updates between Takeda and its partners.
Performance Management:
- Track and report on the performance of alliance agreements.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of partnerships.
- Implement corrective actions when necessary to address issues or enhance performance
Capability Enhancement
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance Takeda’s alliance management capabilities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in alliance management.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on alliance management practices
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) preferred
- Proven experience in alliance management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry’s regulatory environment.
- Ability to travel as required to meet with partners and stakeholders.
