Job Description

Primary Objectives of this Job                           

The position described involves the performance of routine and supporting activities for Manufacturing Sciences department including:

• laboratory and process activities

• Execution of small-scale studies

• Troubleshooting, process investigation and improvement initiatives

• Documentation and data management

Responsibilities

• Support development laboratory and process activities including day to day operations as identified and assigned by supervisor

• Acquire process understanding from subject matter experts in order to provide support for ongoing development and small-scale projects

• Execute small-scale studies as planned by process development engineers

• Use statistical tools for interpretation of results and preparation of reports and readouts

• Support manufacturing operations through technical support and monitoring of process performance (Purification/Cell Culture)

• Assist in detecting and resolving process issues

• Assist in implementing projects, process improvements and/or optimizations

• Assist in transferring new technologies or processes

• Support process validation and qualification programs through data support and execution of sampling plans

• Responsibility to adhere to any applicable EHS requirements

• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
