About the Role
As the Market Access Manager, you will be responsible for reimbursement and pricing strategy and ensuring timely patient access to Takeda's medicines in Australia and New Zealand. You will develop and implement market access strategies, manage reimbursement projects, and foster productive relationships internally and externally. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract, based in Sydney.
What You Will Do:
- Reimbursement Projects: Develop, manage, and review reimbursement projects and processes independently, including management of external consultants.
- Pricing Strategies: Develop and implement pricing strategies, including competitor analysis that aligns with global market access plans and international pricing strategies.
- Strategic Initiatives: Plan and execute strategic initiatives in market access contexts.
- Team Leadership: Lead small cross-functional project teams and contribute to team upskilling and knowledge sharing.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with external stakeholders to advance project goals, such as advisory boards and patient forums.
What We’re Seeking in You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Pharmacy, Economics, or related field required; higher-level degree such as Master of Public Health or MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with HTA submissions in Australia and understanding of health economics.
- Proficient in leveraging AI-generated insights and digital tools, skilled in utilising AI-powered platforms for document review and data analysis.
- Ability to plan and manage strategic and operational decisions relating to market access projects.
