THE ORGANIZATION: 
This role is in the Takeda Japan Innovation Center (TJIC), as part of the global network of Innovation Capability Centers (ICCs). Our ICCs focus on delivering digital solutions across Takeda and building our internal digital capabilities to ensure we are future-ready.

TJIC collaborates with the global ICCs to supports our Japan based business units and functions with cutting-edge technologies such as AI and big data. As a TJIC member, you will work closely with Japan-based business units and functions while regularly collaborating with colleagues in global ICCs to exchange knowledge and drive innovation.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a CRM DevOps Engineer, you will take ownership of high-impact projects that enhance our customer relationship platforms and drive operational excellence. You’ll be at the intersection of development and operations, introducing automation, optimizing resources, and delivering robust, cutting-edge CRM solutions that support Takeda’s global mission. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in projects and operations of our CRM platforms, Veeva and Salesforce. Contribute to delivery within the agreed timeline, budget and quality standards.

  • Implement and maintain DevOps practices for CRM solutions by establishing and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • Lead the resolution of issues and incidents assigned to you

  • Work closely with other CRM developers, IT operations teams, and business stakeholders to streamline enhancements, bug fixes, and system upgrades.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, guidelines, and best practices for DevOps processes and CRM solutions.

  • Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Monitor application performance, automate routine tasks, and utilize analytics to ensure optimal system performance and stability.

  • Use AI tools like GitHub co-pilot to improve your and the team’s efficiency in programming, building and testing CRM and related applications.

  • VeevaとSalesforceなど、当社のCRMプラットフォームのプロジェクトおよび運用に参加し、合意されたスケジュール、予算、品質基準内での成果達成に貢献します。

  •  DevOpsプロセスおよびCRMソリューション向けに、包括的な技術文書、ガイドライン、ベストプラクティスを作成および維持します。

  •  監視およびパフォーマンス最適化:アプリケーションのパフォーマンスを監視し、定型作業の自動化と分析の活用により、最適なシステムパフォーマンスと安定性を確保します。

  • 最新のAI技術(GitHub Co-Pilot等)を使用して、ご自身とチームのプログラミング、開発、テストの生産性の向上に貢献します。

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS : 

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience with CRM system (Veeva or Salesforce preferred) development or operations, or other relevant system Devops.

  • Japanese language skill JLPT2+

Preferred:

  • Business level English skill

  • Knowledge/experience of SQL, ETL and databases. Informatica preferred.

  • Domain knowledge in pharmaceutical, especially commercial.

  • Experience with Service Now, Jira or other relevant tools

Takeda Compensation and Benefits Summary:

  • Allowances: Commutation, Housing, Overtime Work etc.

  • Salary Increase: Annually, Bonus Payment: Twice a year

  • Working Hours: Headquarters (Osaka/ Tokyo) 9:00-17:30, Production Sites (Osaka/ Yamaguchi) 8:00-16:45, (Narita) 8:30-17:15, Research Site (Kanagawa) 9:00-17:45

  • Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, May Day, Year-End Holidays etc. (approx. 123 days in a year)
