Job Description

At our heart we are committed colleagues. We offer interested people numerous opportunities and strongly believe in, and promote, diversity, equity, and inclusion. As a company we offer roles based on merit, welcoming candidates of any gender, age, religious belief, sexual orientation, race, color, ethnic or social origin, or disability.

Our team is growing and for this we need bright minds with creativity and flexibility – what talent do you have?

As Tender and Pricing Lead, you will own and drive end-to-end pricing and tender activities across Denmark and Iceland. You will ensure timely, high-quality, and compliant submissions for tenders of critical commercial importance, while supporting pricing strategy, market access, and business continuity.

Working across the Nordic organization, you will translate market data, competitive intelligence, and customer insights into clear recommendations that support sound commercial decisions. You will also play a key role in modernizing tender and pricing processes through digital tools, automation, and responsible use of AI.

How you will contribute

  • Own and manage the full lifecycle of national hospital tenders in Denmark and Iceland, as well as bi-weekly list-price tenders for pharmacy-distributed products in Denmark.

  • Lead tender analysis, scenario modelling, risk assessments, and business cases to support internal decision-making and approvals.

  • Coordinate high-quality tender submissions in accordance with Takeda’s processes, policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Drive standardization of tender processes, templates, workflows, data capture, and governance.

  • Support tender strategy and shaping by analyzing customer needs, market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and tender criteria.

  • Manage pricing planning, implementation, coordination, and external reporting across relevant products and markets.

  • Maintain accurate, controlled, and traceable pricing data across internal and external systems, including appropriate version control and audit trails.

  • Monitor pricing developments, tender outcomes, contract requirements, product uptake, and competitor activity, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.

  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to align supply with tender commitments and strengthen forecasting and early-warning processes.

  • Provide clear, insight-based updates and decision support to stakeholders, including the Country Head, Finance, Commercial teams, Business Units, and Nordic Market Access.

  • Act as the local pricing champion and coordinate with the Global Pricing function to ensure effective system governance and alignment.

  • Identify and implement process improvements using dashboards, digital collaboration tools, automation, and AI-enabled analysis.

What you bring to Takeda

  • A master’s degree in finance, economics, business, market access, life sciences, or another relevant discipline.

  • 3-5 years of experience in market access, pricing, tender management, or business planning within the biopharmaceutical or healthcare sector.

  • Practical knowledge of Danish healthcare systems and tender processes, ideally covering both primary and secondary care.

  • Proven experience managing tenders and pricing activities in Denmark; experience involving Iceland or broader Nordic markets is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical skills, including forecasting, financial modelling, business impact analysis, discount analysis, and database management.

  • The ability to synthesize complex data and commercial insights from multiple products and Business Units into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to influence without formal authority.

  • Experience improving processes, systems, data quality, and repeatable reporting.

  • Confidence working with digital tools and AI responsibly, with appropriate quality control and source validation.

  • A proactive, accountable, and business-oriented mindset, with sound judgement and a continuous-improvement approach.

  • Fluency in written and spoken Danish and English.
