Job Description
About the Role:
This role will be key in enabling the Vienna site by developing the site system and technology roadmap. The Digital Program Manager will partner with all functions to understand business processes, map technology gaps and derive prioritized reasonable and aligned delivery roadmaps. The Digital Program Manager therefore will drive the cross functional Vienna digital program aligning digital initiatives not just for DDT related functions but also Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing.
How you will contribute:
Digital Site Strategy
Shape and lead digital innovation at site level
Ensure global alignment by taking advantage of existing and emerging technologies.
Enable a Takeda values driven decision framework for technology implementation.
Act as a technology advisor to the business with the ability to influence stakeholders and guide the co-creation of new capabilities with the business partners.
Translates complex technical concepts and solutions related to digital products into business language that non-technical stakeholders can understand
Conveys business requirements related to digital core and digital products to DD&T talent supporting strategic planning process
Perform Architecture Analysis and embed new Capabilities in a future Vienna system and Capability Matrix.
Connect our digital transformation portfolio to help all involved functions to achieve our site digital strategy.
Align with Business Process Owners on needs on system deployment for the respective areas.
Primary Contact for above site function to define system deployment plans for Vienna site.
Ensure site digital strategy is aligned with the site data strategy.
Remaining up to date with advances in Digital, Data and Technology and industry best practices.
Cross Functional Leadership
Ensure all site digital initiatives are holistically planned, reviewed and reported beyond the department boundaries of Digital, Data and Technology, Quality, Engineering and all other functions on site.
Lead Cross functional digital steering committee and ensure delivery is conducted in siloed initiatives
Convey a combined perspective how future digital operations will be conducted across all parties supporting day to day operation.
What you bring to Takeda:
Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field
3+ years operations experience ideally in two or more functions (production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, business process management, etc.)
Expert in process digitization / optimization
Strong understanding of business partnering, technology systems, processes, and digital product development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong desire to work in cross-functional teams
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical language
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience with project management and business analysis; primary lead on business case development for digital opportunities within scope of responsibility
Preferred:
Strong understanding of Takeda business processes.
Experience in collaboration with global teams.
Experience with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks e.g. TOGAF.
Experience with Data Governance and Data Architecture.

A competitive remuneration package with a minimum salary of € 4.270,14 gross per month (full-time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry) - the actual salary is higher and depends on your professional experience and qualifications.
