Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the GMS Finance ERP Transformation Lead, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end transformation of finance systems and processes through a new ERP implementation. Working across global functions, you will ensure strategic alignment, effective change management, and continuous communication between stakeholders to deliver a successful outcome for GMS Finance.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for ERP implementation including resource planning, budgeting, and milestone tracking.
Serve as the primary liaison between GMS Finance, IT, system integrators, and global business stakeholders.
Facilitate regular governance meetings, workshops, and reporting sessions with project stakeholders.
Drive process harmonization and optimization within manufacturing finance to align with best practices and leverage ERP capabilities.
Establish performance metrics and reporting dashboards to monitor project progress and identify improvement opportunities.
Lead the identification and mitigation of risks, issues, and project bottlenecks through structured problem-solving.
Design and implement change management strategies to support user adoption, including training, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
Advocate for GMS Finance needs throughout system design, testing, and deployment stages.
Maintain clear, consistent communication with senior leadership and functional teams across the organization.
Ensure alignment of ERP functionality with financial reporting, compliance (e.g., SOX, IFRS), and operational excellence initiatives.
WHAT YOU BRING TO TAKEDA
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; MBA or CPA preferred.
10+ years of relevant experience including 6–8 years in manufacturing finance within the pharmaceutical or similar industry.
Demonstrated leadership in large-scale ERP projects, preferably S/4HANA implementations.
Strong knowledge of financial operations in a manufacturing context, including cost accounting, inventory valuation, and reporting.
Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP, JDE) and financial reporting tools (TM1, Hyperion, HFM).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional global teams and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Exceptional change management skills and the ability to drive transformation in a complex, global environment.
Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities with a data-driven mindset.
Knowledge of SOX compliance and IFRS standards.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
