Job Description
About the role
As an MSAT Data Expert (Plasma), you will play a key role in enabling Takeda's digital manufacturing and data strategy by ensuring high-quality, structured, and analysis-ready CMC process data across the Plasma network. You will partner with cross-functional teams to develop data standards, improve data governance, and support advanced analytics that drive innovation, operational excellence, and compliance.
How you contribute
Develop and maintain CMC data taxonomies, ontologies, metadata models, and business rules for the Plasma modality.
Ensure CMC process data is accurate, consistent, contextualized, and analysis-ready across systems and manufacturing sites.
Partner with MSAT, Manufacturing, Digital, and Quality teams to enable effective data capture, integration, and utilization.
Act as the subject matter expert for CMC data governance and stewardship within the Plasma organization.
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of data standards, SOPs, job aids, and governance practices.
Enable data integration across manufacturing and enterprise platforms to support modelling, analytics, and digital use cases.
Ensure compliance with GxP requirements and contribute to inspection readiness through robust data management practices.
Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement while supporting Takeda's digital transformation initiatives.
What you bring to Takeda
Advanced degree in Data Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or another relevant STEM discipline.
Experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, ideally supporting CMC, MSAT, Manufacturing, or Plasma operations.
Knowledge of CMC process data, data modelling, metadata management, taxonomies, ontologies, or data governance principles.
Familiarity with GxP-regulated environments and an understanding of data integrity requirements.
Experience working with manufacturing or laboratory systems such as MES, LIMS, OSI PI, Databricks, or similar digital platforms is advantageous.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex process knowledge into structured, high-quality data solutions.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary and global teams.
